a) Zi Jun’s Storybook
He was the First President of USA and what was his background?
He was a farmer’s child. He worked very hard and was tall and thin. His mother paseed away when he was very young. Luckily, his Stepmother loved the family very much. They nearby the jungle where there wasn’t any school nearby. When a school was built near his home, he grabbed the opportunity to learn. However, as he had to help his family a lot; altogether he only had a year of education.
He enjoyed reading and writing. He would raed newspaer for his friends and new friends. They loved his jokes. He was labelled as an honest man. Then, he decided to study law. He succeeded and at that time, lawyers had to ride on a horse to do their job. Everyone liked him.
He was upset by the slavery system. He fought for their rights. After hardworkship; he won again! Slaves were freed and USA grew faster and became more prosperous.
However, he was shot one day by people who were against him. There was a huge statue carved for him in USA……. a very nice one! Without him, we wouldn’t have today……thank you, Mr. President!

b) North America and USA
North America has got about 10 countries. However, USA is the biggest and USA is the world’s fourth biggest country in the world, It has 50 states altogether.
Its area comprises of Grasslands, desserts, icebound lands and forests too.
Its National Symbol is the Bald Eagle while Malaysia’ is Sang kancil. We observed Malaysia old RM note to see the Sang Kancil.
Its Landmark included Statue Of Liberty, The Grand Canyons and Golden gate Bridge.
Its currency is US Dollar which is bigger than RM. US$1 = RM3.80.
Thay have native people and they were once conquered by the British too. After gaining Independence; more and more people migrated to live in USA. Usa boomed with so much opportunities from Agriculture to manufacturing and today; even its servicing line is the most important one.
People around the world live here who practised their cultures and customs. I also showed the kids ‘Cowboys” and Red Indians.

c) A Gift for Mrs. Low
The kids drew nice pictures for her. Some actually drew Macchu Picchu such as Song Chuan, Ze Yan and Yun Zhe. Most girls drew Mrs. Low as Princess. They enjoyed the process.
