Trophy Giving Ceremony

a) Trophy Giving Ceremony.
* The kids practiced at receiving the trophy. This time, the trophies were awarded according to the teams. They were Gold receiver and Silver receiver. They queued in 2 teams. The Gold winners were the girls’ team whereby they stood on the chairs. Next, the silver team which were the boys queued and stood on the floor besides the Gold team. I pretended giving them the trophies. Then, we sang our national Anthem; “Negaraku”.
* We invited Teacher Ya Hui to give out the awards. The kids were excited and happy.

b) Hula Hoop.
 Last week, after the kids’ vote; they preferred to learn about Hula Hoop first.
 I got the kids to brainstormed ways to play. Most answers were “I can spin a hula hoop”.
 Thus, kids formed a big circle and they took turns to spin it. It was fun but so far the longest hula hoop player was Kwong Yong, Zheng Yuan and Zhe Qing.
 Next, we also rolled the hula by competing in two teams.
 Then, we tried rolling as far as possible.

c) Our “Heart”.
 Yesterday, I asked the kids why does our heartbeat increase when we exercise. Their answers included:
Yun Xin: Because the heart has to pump blood.
Weei Xiang: The blood will be pumped to every part of our body to work.
* We shall learn further about human body in the near future.
