Kids’ Interview Results.

Monday (02/07/2012)

a)      Homework sharing.
l       Kids came forward to share about their homework. As they shared, I wrote down the details on the whiteboard. Then, we started noticing the engine cc differences, the car type differences, the price differences. Most parents serviced their cars every 5000km except Alisa’s father serviced his car every 10,000km. Could it be because of the engine cc? Honda’s from Japan, Avanza’s also from Japan, MyVi’s from Malaysia and Exora’s also from Malaysia. All the cars use RON95 which is eco-friendly and all parents commented that their cars are fuel-efficiency. J
l       Summary: Car prices are getting more expensive even though they are of same type. The bigger the engine cc, the more expensive is a car.

c)       The Police uniform.
l       Ying Qiao said police help people. Thus, we are learning a little more about police since kids were so interested about them.
l       I showed them their uniform which generally is dark blue. Higher police ranks have got more badges and stars on their uniform. However, each has got their names on and also a police hat with RMP (Royal Malaysia Police) logo.
l       The following ranks are ascending from low to the highest. Corporal, Sergeant, Inspector  and IGP(Inspector General Police).
l       Logo: Blue represents unity, tiger head represents bravery, paddy plant represents Malaysia’s main food. Kids coloured the logo so that we could decorate on our police hat.
