LRT Transportation.

Monday’s lessons are shorter as we have Wushu lessons. Thus,
we have leftover 30 minutes for lessons.

a) Telecommunication Satellites.

Tower has got antennas to receive radio waves from satellites. I drew a picture
of our universe with the Sun and planet Earth. The kids saw that some
satellites orbit the Earth. The first country to launch its satellite was Russia. Then,
more countries launched their satellites. In fact, Malaysia has got 2 satellites at
the moment. With the existence, our television reception, hand phones and also
Internet lines are much better and faster.

related examples of Tom and Jerry cartoon from USA. They could watch because of
the satellites’ functions. Ying Qiao then asked about CDs. CDs are recorded by
humans with the existence of IT Technology.

b) Transport system.
* We brainstormed the various transportation in Malsyia
including LRT, train, taxis, buses and some places with bicycles. The reason KL
is boosting is also due to its transportation. LRT links many places in Klang Valley.
It’s easy to get to shaopping centres and also to Petronas and KL Towers. The
LRT either passes through the underground on in the sky. There are controlled
by It or computer system and it is cheap and safe to be on it. Only a few kids
have ridden on LRT, some on trains.

c) Continuation of Picture Drawing.
* The kids continued with their drawing and colouring of PETRONAS Twin Towers.
