The Card Game

a) Numbers
• Briefly recapping number pattern from 1 until 50.

b) Card games.
• As the kids requested for games, thus I thought; they would love this game. It consists of hand-made card games from number 1 until 36.
• “Number Sequence” Game.
For this, every kid randomly picked a card without knowing the number. Then, they looked at their numbers. We arranged nicely, accordingly on the floor. They were excited as we called out the numbers because they need to know how to read them. Example: number 1, number 2……and continuously.”
• “Open and Close” game.
Each card has got ocean animal pictures on them. All cards arranged neatly on the floor with pictures facing the floor. A kid will first flip the card and another. If 2 pictures match, he or she gets to play another round. Otherwise, it’s the next kid’s turn. It tests our focus and memory. The champion of this round was Jun Yu who managed getting 10 cards.

c) Cutting cards.
• Each kid was given 10 strips of a rectangle card. They have to fold it and cut. Then numbered them from 1 until 20.
