The Oyster Ocean Craft

a) Craft: Oyster Ocean.
• What’s in it? It shall include origami crafts that kids had done before. They included little octopus, stingrays, Anglerfish, puffer fish.
• On top of that, we shall also add on these: the pearl, the eel, whales and shrimps.

b) The whale.
• The kids were guided steps to fold the whale. It’s a simple origami.
• Next, they rolled a small piece of paper and pasted them so as to look like a pearl.
• Rei immediately took out a little toy pearl from her school bag to show us.
• Then, the crafts were punched a hole and kids inserted a thread and tied a knot.
• They decided whether to hand their crafts or paste them onto the paper plates.
• Before that, the kids decorated the inner side of the paper with colour pencils and crayons.
• Then, they pasted those crafts to the proper place.

c) The Eyes.
• I used a cutter to cut the eyes for the kids and they decorated them. We shall continue with the mouth tomorrow.
