The Friendly Match.

Friday (27/05/2011)

a) Group divisions.
• The Pomegranate kids got into their small groups. We discussed about our activities of the day.

b) The Friendly Match.
• We went over to Yelllow Bean class; the other 6-year old class upstairs. Cikgu had divided into 6 small groups. Thus, Pomegranate groups combined with each group. Then, the first 3 Assistants came upfront to explain about “Open and Close Game”. They were Kwong Yong, Chun Kit and Weei Xiang. Next, I explained briefly to the whole class rules of game and ways to play.
• Most groups were able to play correctly and they enjoyed themselves more at second round.

c) “Snap” Game.
• This round; Weei xiang, Jun Yu and Qian Joe explained about the game. This was a more exciting game as the kids need to react fast as well as focus. “Snap! Snap! Snap!” the phrase just got louder.
• The Friendly Match ended with little rewards for each kid. This was because our objective is to ensure Unity spirit and Sports Spirit during the play rather than the winners or losers.

d) Craft: The eel.
• Each kid was given a piece of cardboard. They drew a spiral picture similar to drawing a spiral lollipop. Then they wrote their name and decorated it before cutting along the spiral line. The eel part of the ocean animal in our Oyster Ocean Craft.
