Tracing Hands

a) Vocabulary Recapped
• Kids recapped o words learnt throughout this theme. Then, we sang mother’s Day song. They loved the song a lot!

b) The “Mother’s Love Game” continuation.
• Some kids continued by pasting the 6 questions onto their “heart” card. By now, they have got 2 “Heart” cards. They inserted them through a straw and cellophane taped one of the hearts to avoid it from moving. The other heart with no questions are supposed to be moveable. That one was added a wire thread at its straw end to avoid being fallen off when playing the game.

c) Tracing hands.
• A few kids handed up their mother’s palm. Then, all students were given a colour paper to trace their own palm. Some 5 year-old kids needed some guidance. Then, they put on some glue onto each traced palm and I taught them the proper way to add on some glitterings onto the sticky palms.
