Everyone Is Special

a) Song: Everyone Is Special
We read through the words once before singing together.
The melody was fun and the kids like knowing that “They are special”!
We tried moving our body to the music. Some moved fast while some prefer to clap their hands. The kids agreed to think of new dance steps and share with the class next week.

b) Game: Balloons
Some kids tried blowing balloons. However, it was quite tough. Foo Soon enjoyed blowing them and I helped the kids to tie.
We went downstairs to form 2 groups. Every kid in the each group used only their hands to hit the ball from one end to another end; so as to pass to their friends.
As the wind was arther strong, we continued the game in the class.
The objective of this game is to enable the kids listen to instructions and play by the rules. Discipline was instilled here.

c) Colouring
The kids continued the art for “Earth Day”. Today, they learnt to colour nicely within the lines; if possible.
We went down to see the other framed pictures drawn by kids a few years ago. They said they were nice.
With that thought, they marched upstairs to start colouring. It was nice to see how they enjoyed their colouring and were serious about it.
